Software Bugbusting

• Max 2 members per team
• Event consists of 2 rounds

Preliminary
Round 1:
You are provided with 15 questions from which any team answering more than 10 questions will be qualified for the next round

Round 2:
You are provided with 15 questions from which 5 teams will be selected based on score.

Finals:
You are supposed to debug 3 codes under a time constraint and rankings will be based on the order in which they complete.


Program coding:
Codes have always been a problem with software engineers, who seems to really like it always.

• Languages which can be used - C, C++, Java
• Max 2 per team
• Prelims 30 mins
• Finals 45 mins

X- Quiz IT:
An event which looks into the inner part of your cerebrum and extracts all nerves out of it.
Try saving it if possible...

• Team event (2 per team)
• Questions will be technical and non-technical
• Prelims: 20 questions 15 mins
• Selection will be purely based on marks scored

Hardware Bug zapping:
In this world of computers, everyone be it a child or adult is familiar with monitors and CPUs. But is there anyone who has actually looked into what makes it work. Lets look for your zest of the hardware.

• Individual event
• Prelims: 20 questions 15 mins
• Finals: Assembling CPU, Best clocking time will be awarded.

Gaming:
Get ready to burn your tires with NFS.
Blast ur enemies with ultimate action in Quake3.

• Individual event
• Prelims : Participants are supposed to play Q3 death match and first position will be selected for finals.
• Finals: NFS Most wanted, first 3 positions will be awarded

Shipwreck:
The event showcases the personalities of various individuals who have excelled in some field or the other. With reference to qualities of these personalities, they claim to be saved for the betterment of the mankind.

• Individual event
• Each participant will be given a critical situation and their reactions will decide the results
• No. of rounds: Prelims-2 ; Finals -1
• Each participant will be given 2 mins to react to the situation
• Selection would be based on the performance in both the prelims
• Finals consists of two segments - Reaction & its contradiction

Act-o-mania:
A peculiar enacting event which brings out the power of sign language. Lets become our forefathers again

• Max 2 per team
• 3 mins to crack the nut
• 5 teams will be selected for the finals

Adzap:
The event portrays the marketing skills of a budding entrepreneur in this ever - dominating society.Lets bring the actor out of you.

• Max 5 per team
• Event will be held in 2 levels
• 5 min presentation of the product followed by queries from jury and audience

Treasure Hunt:
Adventurous event which involves searching hidden treasure using a pirate map

• 2 per team
• Prelims : Written test (15 mins)
• 5 teams for finals

Mock Interview:
Show the world you have the guts to face the dominant entrepreneur world.
This event shall be a beginning to the hunt of the star studded career.

• Round 1 : Aptitude test ; 30 questions , 20 mins
• Round 2 : Group discussion; 10 mins
• Round 3: HR interview

Protocols:
Participants are requested to bring their ID cards without fail.
Participants are advised not to wear jean and T-Shirts.
Participants can bring and use their mobiles.
Registration starts at 8:15 am and closes by 9:45am
Participants can avail college bus facility
Participants can participate in only 4 non technical events
In case of any discrepancy the decision of the organisers will be final.
